Impromptu Slumber Party

There was a really bad storm late last night and early this morning. It knocked out our power which as of 5:00 this evening had not come back on. Not wanting to deal with the girls and no power, I thought it best to have an impromptu slumber party at my parent’s house. The girls (and Nana and Papa) were beyond excited. We had an absolute blast. I was actually kinda sad when I found out the power came back on because I so could have done that again. Maybe we will have to do that every so often. The girls stay every Thursday night and occasional other nights, but that was the first time in a very long time I’ve stayed with my parents.
