We have yet to take the girls to the movies. I have been wanting to take Reilly because I really thought she was ready to go. I was going to do just Reilly, but Makayla is actually pretty good at home with movies (especially the first time she sees one). Reilly pouted all weekend that we were not taking her to Wrestlemania, so I came up with a compromise. I told her that if she would stop pouting, we would take her to the movies on Monday. We took that day off because we knew we would be exhausted coming in so late from Wrestlemania. That did the trick. She was so excited she could hardly contain herself. So today we took both girls to see Hop (really got us in the Easter mood). It was a priceless memory I’ll carry with me forever. Reilly was perfect. She asked a few questions, but was mainly engrossed in her popcorn and movie. Makayla got a little restless here and there (the movie wasn’t entirely a cartoon), but overall did very well also. It also didn't help that she had not taken a nap yet that day. It was such a success, I am really glad there are a lot of kid movies coming this summer because I think we will do this a lot more often.
