Whirlwind

This weekend was incredibly busy, but so much fun! Friday started with taking both girls to the doctor. Reilly had a check up and Makayla had her 2 year old visit. They told me she would not need a shot, just a finger prick so none of us were prepared when they told us that she did in fact need one shot. BLAH! Either way, both girls did pretty great considering. Makayla did much better on this visit because Reilly and I have been playing doctor with her in hopes that she wouldn't be so scared. I actually thinked it worked too until that damn needle. I was able to get her attention back onto her finger which she was mesmerized with the sparkly band-aid and blood that she didn't care anymore about the shot. I'm not sure how my ninja could be a ninja and a vampire, but she totally is. We then had the most fun time together. Breakfast, getting medicine for Reilly, car wash, Target, new shoes (Maymay finally got some light up shoes like big sister and Reilly picked out these adorable pink boots), haircuts for the girls, lunch, and then home to relax. What fun! Saturday was more fun with the girls and ended with dinner with Nana, Papa, and Bubba at a local steakhouse. Brandy came over that evening which the girls completely loved and Nana spent the night. Sunday was the big birthday party for our 2 year old ninja. She had SO much fun and I am glad that I kept the list to just family. What a whirlwind of a weekend!
